GROUP - 5 PROJECT

  COOLING TOWER OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANT Our project deals with the application of hyperbola in Cooling Towers of Nuclear Power plant. In this project we briefly explain about the hyperbola, its equation, how hyperbola is applicable in Cooling Towers. GROUP - 4 PROJECT

KEPLER'S LAW AND CONICS Our project is based on the conic section, Ellipse. Here, we mainly focus on ellipse in Kepler's laws of planetary motion and thereafter an application of Kepler's laws with respect to satellite communication.  VIDEO LINK:  MINDMAP

PARABOLIC REFLECTOR The Parabola has many important applications and one such application is the parabolic reflectors used in paraboloidal dish or satellite dish. The main working of parabolic reflectors are to collect energy from a distant source. VIDEO LINK:  MINDMAP

GROUP - 2 PROJECT

GROUP - 1 PROJECT

SUNDIALS Our project deals with the application of conic sections. Here we use Hyperbola and it's application, Sundials, the earliest type of timekeeping device, which indicates the time of the day by the position of the shadow of some object exposed to the sun's rays. In this project we explain about the working of sundials, how hyperbola is applicable in it, and hyperbola help sundials in time calculation. VIDEO LINK:  MINDMAP
